PowerPoint 2007: Running Files from the Presentation

You can run programs from within a PowerPoint presentation. Programs run outside PowerPoint, and are not included in your presentation.

To run the file from the presentation:

1. Select the text object on the slide you want to use to open the program from the presentation.
2. On the Insert tab, in the Links group, click Action.

3. If you want to click on text or objects to run the program, click the Mouse Click tab.

if you want to direct the mouse pointer to the text or object to run the program, click the Mouse Over tab.

4. Click Run the program, and then type the path to the program files that you want to open or click Browse to look for.

5. Click OK, PowerPoint will change the text or object you select a link to the program.
